Samantha Hammer is a traditional astrologer, gemstone consultant, and content creator based in Southern California. Since beginning her astrological studies in 2017, she has remained deeply engaged in the craft. Early influences include The Astrology Podcast and the work of Austin Coppock, Chris Brennan, and Kelly Surtees. After years of independent study, she is currently completing Austin Coppock’s three-year Fundamentals of Astrology program.

Since 2023, Samantha has served as the annual Virtual Hostess for the Northwest Astrological Conference (NORWAC), helping foster connection and community within the online conference environment. She has presented a lecture for the Association for Young Astrologers (AYA) titled The Astrology of Family Trees, focused on generational symbolism and inherited patterns within natal charts. She is also scheduled to lecture at the 2026 United Astrology Conference (UAC) on the art and practical application of planetary gemstone correspondences within traditional astrology.

She is the founder of the South Bay Astrology Group (SBAG), a monthly community meetup designed for students, practitioners, and astrology enthusiasts to gather in discussion, study, and shared exploration of the craft.

Alongside her astrological work, Samantha spent over five years working professionally in the metaphysical industry as a gemstone consultant, helping clients understand crystal correspondences, symbolism, and practical application. Her background also includes educational livestreams, content curation, and photography. Her product photography appeared in a crystal and gemstone encyclopedia published by Penguin Playhouse. Her ongoing research explores the historical and symbolic relationship between astrology, planetary magic, and the mineral world.

Her consultations combine grounded interpretation with practical methods of planetary remediation while honoring the depth and living tradition of the astrological arts.
